Our calculator uses traditional methods to find your ideal gemstone. When you search by name, each letter is converted into a specific number based on numerology. These numbers are added together and reduced to a single ruling digit (1 to 9), which corresponds to a specific natural gemstone.

When searching by Date of Birth, the system calculates the day of the week you were born on, and matches it with the ruling planet and its associated gemstone for that specific day. It's a fun, culturally rich way to discover a meaningful stone.

Birthstones vs. Lucky Stones: The Difference

Many people confuse birthstones with lucky stones, but they are slightly different traditions. A Birthstone is traditionally linked to the specific month you were born in (e.g., Emerald for May). A Lucky Stone, however, is determined by your ruling number in numerology or the day of the week you were born.

When you use our tool, you may discover your lucky stone is different from your standard birthstone. Some customers prefer to wear their birthstone, while others feel drawn to the energy of their numerology stone. Both choices are completely valid!
